Beekeeping Society Veržej
The Veržej Beekeeping Society was founded in 1937. Today, there are 21 members. Beekeepers with just over 400 hives. In addition to quality honey, we also produce propolis, pollen and wax. In our area we produce flower honey, honey rape, acacia honey and buckwheat honey. Beekeepers transporting the hives to the areas of Slovenske gorice also produce chestnuts med.

When consuming honey or other bee crops, it is important that we eat food from the environment in which we live. Thus, we do not bring substances that are foreign to our body. Namely, if we bring substances from a foreign environment into the body, there is much more chance of an allergy.
traceability
Slovenian beekeepers ensure the traceability of our varieties of honey. The label is also marked by the full title of the beekeeper, who produced the honey. This is a big difference from the markings of some types of honey that is defined as "a mixture of honey countries that are or are not EC members.
