After completing his studies at the Department of History of the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, he served as a headmaster at the Ljutomer High School and at the National Liberation Museum, and later took a job at the Institute of Education as a teaching advisor. His first book entitled Prlekija in the NOB was published in 1969, then the book " Prlekija 1941 - 1945´´ (1987). He is also the co -author of the books " mom, alive and healthy" , "NOB Memories in Slovenske gorice and Prekmurje" and "Partisan routes" .
