Mary's pillar

Mary's pillar has been under the bushy chestnuts on Slavko Ostrc Square since 1815, so that he has the status of the oldest monument in the town. He is associated with an event when Pope Pius VII. happily returned to Rome from the captivity of the French Emperor Napoleon. In a unique way, he expresses the piety of the locals, and especially their attitude towards the Mother of God
